One thing the Tea Party does that I don't particularly like is send out e-mail to encourage people to donate money to politicians outside their own districts. In a democracy, politicians should be nominated, supported, and elected by their own people, not bought by people around (and beyond) the United States.
That said, Florida does seem to have a Congressman worth watching. Like our current President, Allen West is gaining support just for having introduced a piece of legislation whose time has come. The Republican Party wants to celebrate its ethnic diversity, just as the Democrats did in the last presidential election...and people are talking about drafting Congressman West for President:
