Gentle Readers, I just stumbled across a LiveJournal community I know some of you will love:
One of these days I'll join and post recipes here. (Actually, in this batch of book reviews there'll be a very authentic, down-home Cheap Cooking cookbook.) Meanwhile, although I personally haaate LJ's "cuts" and "collapses," you may find the cheap recipe you were looking for hidden behind one of the cuts.
And it even seems like my e-friend Elizabeth Barrette started this site, a few years ago. Why didn't she tell me? As should be obvious from a glance at her LJ site: she really is busy--it's not just a mood icon.
