Texas-Sized Hailstorm Photos and Phenology for 4/14/12

For once we didn't even get rain up here. We got a cold snap that produced perfect weather for working outdoors, which is why I've been offline this week. Water froze in the cats' bowls, but running water didn't freeze, the ground didn't freeze, and most flowers have continued blooming. And the sky's been clear, bright, and beautiful, day and night...which has become rare in my corner of the world.

But today the clouds are rolling back in...which is why I'm online.
