War on Suburbs in Northern California

Wendell Cox reports on the new "plans" for denser, less livable, future crime and disease pockets in San Francisco:

Overcrowding does not create car-free neighborhoods: it creates slums where nobody will voluntarily live--or even work. When we hear of "planners" trying to recommend plans for increasing population density, we need to recognize that these people are basically promoting "Agenda 21," the infamous plan for making the world a better place by killing a lot of existing people.

At the very least, if we're going to reduce population by getting rid of existing people, we should do it on a more rational and selective basis than just crowding all but the richest people into slums.
