Distracted Driver Syndrome, with Photos

Mytheos Holt shares the story of a young man who texted, "I need to quit texting," shortly before he distractedly drove over a cliff, last January. Although he looked beyond hope when pulled out of the wreck, after six months in the hospital he's able to tell reporters about the hazards of typing on a cell phone while driving.

If the message can't wait, stop the car. If your errand can't wait, send the message when you get there. People had no choice about this for a hundred years, so why is making the sane choice so difficult now?
