Virginia House Bill #903 would, if enacted, basically revoke property rights conceded under earlier efforts to force zoning ordinances into effect in certain counties. Full text:

What we all really need is a good clear umbrella law, something like "No zoning ordinance shall be proposed or preserved in any part of Virginia." If neighbors want to agree on special rules for their neighborhood, let'em do it as a private neighborhood organization whose special rules will apply as long as they remain neighbors.
