Monsanto Pesticides Affect Growth of Frogs

To be fair to Steve Milloy, who shared the link: yes, the deformities tadpoles showed after exposure to Monsanto pesticides are adaptive in a limited way. Yes, they might help tadpoles escape predators. Not much help if the predators aren't really there, and if there's a tradeoff that adversely affects the adult frogs who've survived this developmental trauma...

My synthetic-reading brain tends to file this among the reports about atrazine causing gender confusion in genetically male frogs...and why are so many people fighting so hard to prevent any serious studies of the links between these chemicals and the increase in human homosexuality? We already know that pesticides have been linked to PCOS, which a majority of adult lesbians have...
