Junk Sculpture at the White House

I get e-mail from the White House e-mail generator too, and thought someone out there might enjoy this quickie video demonstration of how to make the kind of junk sculpture that has decorated the streets of Washington for several seasons. Misidentified as topiaries, which is usually the word for living trees clipped into bizarre "sculptures," these sculptures are actually made with a wire shape, covered with something to which you can attach your junk collection...buttons, bits of shopping bags, scraps of fabric, or whatever works for the image you want to sculpt. In this video the theme is black and white dogs similar to Bo, the First Dog:

It looks so easy when it's recorded fast!
