Book Review: Garden of Graves

Title: Garden of Graves

Author: VL Giles

Date: 2020

Publisher: Vandelso Press

Quote: "Maeve, who had just turned five, was allowed to be out of her grandmother's sight as long as she stayed within the garden walls."

In the garden little Maeve first began to commune with the standing stones and Agnes the ghost. But an unpleasantly pushy man began trying to get an old book away from her grandmother...and now, as a young adult, Maeve is about to havee to deal with the book and the pushy man again.

This is not really even a short story, though it is short in word count. It's the prologue to a novel, sold separately. I don't approve of that kind of marketing-ploy writing but, if you're in the mood for an amusing Gothick tale, you'll want this ;rologue and the series of novels into which it leads.
