Democrats in the General Assembly refused to amend the state budget to give the Sheriff's departments a 3% raise. According to Senator Bill Stanley (R-Franklin), the Democratic Majority Leader Dick Saslaw admitted to him that their refusal was in retaliation for our Sheriff departments standing with us for our 2nd Amendment rights.
