Web Log Weekender for 5.8-9.26

Animals

Do youall want to visit a dozen or even two dozen animal-related blog posts every week? You do, of course. If you can squeeze in the time...

Art

You must watch the second video on the "Cycles" page...even if the sock turns into a moth before it's finished, and not even the kind of moth that eats wool.

Books

Just for the Pugdame...

Calendar

E-friend Dennis Santaniello created a calendar (with fun stuff like "Mercury Retrograde" and "Tabby Cat Day" noted as holidays) around a character in his fiction. For those who like chunky tabby cats...

The calendar can be ordered, and the self-publishing it's all in aid of can be read more about, at Santaniello's Kickstarter.

Cars

If you drive, use this instructional video, and be warned--do not buy a vehicle built in or after 2026.

Censorship

This guy really should have made his "vlog" post a proper blog, though he's tried to make the video entertaining. And it's about war and foreign relations, so you know there's no way to know whether any of it's true. But the points he's making about censorship are valid.

Customer Service, Bad

I don't know if I believe this one, either, but it ought to be true and at least it's printable.

North Carolina

Apparently motivated to do something public-spirited for one, Mayor Lyles of North Carolina stopped eulogizing the murderer of Iryna Zarutska and resigned. It was the right thing to do, Ma'am.

Politics, Partisan

If, like me, you're an Independent and sometimes have trouble picking one of the other wrongheaded sides, here is a handy little guide to which side you're on at the moment:

Lens thinks it was created by SKS Cartoons.

Technology

Found on the Mirror. Lens traces it to Wolfwomxenergy on Instagram.
