Should Churches Release Voting Guidelines?

Billy Hallowell discusses the voting guidelines released by Catholic churches in Mexico:

Although I'm not a Catholic, I'd like to join the chorus suggesting that the Mexican government should lighten up. People of any religious faith have a right and need to vote their consciences, and nobody needs to try to censor their discussions of what that means. If anything the rest of us are safer when we know what those who disagree with us are doing, and why!
