Auguste Comte anticipated that the seventh generation born after him would have a Secular Humanist papacy, with a calendar of saints, catechisms, and all the other trappings. Maybe he was right after all. While most of his contemporaries have had more than seven generations of descendants by now, in my paternal line The Nephews are still only the seventh generation.
