Man Persecuted for Having a Fallout Shelter

When Joe DelRio was young, you were unpatriotic if you didn't dig an underground "fallout shelter" (and out of luck if you lived in a place where you couldn't dig one). Now, at age 72, Mr. DelRio has lost his home and been heavily fined for keeping one:

With one minor change of terminology, this web site endorses the comment from TXAnnie, who said: "This bunker is just an excuse to move an old man out of a home that is in a very valuable area of town. Beware the infiltration of [left-wingers]. They’ll take what you have and line their pockets with the proceeds in the name of safety for the community or any other reason they can find."
