Two belated links...

Animals

The giant silk moth caterpillars show how it's possible for a living thing to be described as accordion-pleated. Elizabeth Barrette got a beautifully clear photo essay showing all views of a Polyphemus caterpillar, last summer. They're a little fatter than Luna caterpillars, which aren't thin but are longer in proportion to their width. They typically show less brown on the back end. Considering how different the moths look, the caterpillars are remarkably similar.


"Political" News That Is Merely Personal 

Trump is too old to be a baby-boomer. Musk is too young. Is it surprising that they've come to a cross-generation gap? David DiGerolamo said it best.
