So Damon, the restaurant chain owner, deliberately serves his sister's friend Khloe a meal he knows she can't eat, even though he knows she's climbing the laddr as an editor at a food magazine. The magazine prints a rotten review. Business suffers. Khloe offers to help organize a special event and write it up. Business grows. Damon feels so relieved he and Khloe flop into bed. Khloe feels so much "in love" that she confesses having written the rotten review. They quarrel. This is a romance, so you know...
I was not able to suspend disbelief in this plot. I don't expect to love fictional characters, but I positively disliked these two. I wouldn't imagine plagiarism software would come up with this plot, but the narrative is bland enough that I can imagine its having been used to write the individual chapters. It is hard for me to imagine who would like this story, or why, but somebody probably does.
