Bipartisan Committee Delegation Toured Storm-Ravaged Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands

WASHINGTON, DC – Bipartisan leaders of the Energy and Commerce Committee and committee staff joined Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) and Resident Commissioner Jenniffer González-Colón (R-PR) on a trip to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands this past weekend to receive a first-hand look at the damage wrought by the recent series of hurricanes and to receive an update on response and recovery efforts.
The Energy and Commerce Committee will continue to oversee the progress of the federal response and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to ensure that these territories and their people receive the assistance they need amid the massive challenges they face.
