Summing up, we have a clear winner: C.S. Lewis's Pevensey siblings from The Chronicles of Narnia. 

Then, with one vote each:

* Madeleine L'Engle's Murry family from A Wrinkle in Time and its several sequels

* Louisa May Alcott's March sisters from Little Women 

* Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes 

* Bobby and J.R. Ewing from the "Dallas" TV series

* Dodie Smith's Cassandra and Rose from I Capture the Castle 

* J.K. Rowling's Weasleys from Harry Potter 

* Frances Hodgson Burnett's Dickon and Martha from The Secret Garden 

There are eight good ones, so to make this a Top Ten List I'll add:

* Laura Ingalls Wilder's Ingalls sisters from the Little House books

* Elizabeth Enright's Melendy Family 

"Pale," someone is muttering somewhere. This list is pale, and also U.S. and U.K.-centric; a Top Ten List can't include much. Well, "Melendy" almost certainly comes from "Melendez," but in the books nobody ever thinks about this. Still, for the sake of diversity, and because television really shouldn't count, let me add one more set of siblings as an Alternate:
