An invitation to Washington, DC
International Conference on Nutrition in Medicine
Cardiovascular Disease
There is nothing as gratifying in medical practice as learning about the power of nutrition for health and bringing this information to your patients. On July 31-August 1, our friends at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine will be hosting a 2-day conference in Washington, DC, that will give clinicians exciting new insights and to help them to put them to work. My son Craig McDougall, MD, will be a featured speaker who will share his experience on using a plant-based diet in the clinical setting. Other speakers will talk about the surprising connections between nutrition and back pain, ED, and other conditions, and how heart disease begins surprisingly early in life—perhaps even in utero! Here is an announcement from PCRM. Let me strongly urge you to attend. And say hi to Craig if you do!John McDougall, MD"
...and, below some graphics, contact information from P.C.R.M....cheers for their making sure that the event will be fully Metro-accessible, which means it should also be wheelchair-accessible!
"I hope you will make plans to join us on July 31st and August 1st, 2015.
The conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington, just steps from the White House, the national mall, and Washington’s legendary museums and monuments. We have also arranged discounted hotel room rates. There's no need for a rental car with our host hotel located at the main Metro train line.
Visit the main conference site for schedule, registration, and hotel details.
Join us in Washington and learn how to bring even more tools to better work with your patients. If you have any questions, please contact Jill Eckart at jeckart@pcrm.org or 202-527-7337. "
