Book Review: The Gem of Tagath

This review is late because some other books needed to be read and reviewed according to their publication schedules. They're worth waiting for. Now, better late than never...

Title: The Gem of Tagath

Author: Jason Dorough

Date: 2021

Publisher: 908 Press

ISBN: 978-1-7366140-2-0

Quote: "She shoved him back onto the stool, a little rougher than necessary. That's the only way they'd know you were serious."

In the gritty urban fantasy world of Teshowar, teen gangster Pria is on her way up. If you enjoy stories of how a clever little thief outsmarts bigger, tougher, meaner thieves, Pria's adventures are a hoot and a half. No girl power fantasies here; we see Pria working her way up with plenty of sweat and danger.

This book was published in the traditional way before the series moved to Amazon, so you'd expect it to be a more polished piece of work than many Amazon-only e-books are. You'd be right about that.
