Lost Poetry of Cellphones

Remember phones? Devices doomed by greed
fulfilled a wish, seemed to fulfill a need
until expenses & bad news about'm
convinced us we could live, anew, without'm.

The Poets & Storytellers United prompt for this week was to write a poem in the shape of an oldfashioned cell phone message: 160 characters, including spaces.
