And the Cat Post for 1.2.24

This web site is getting back on track. Slowly. Here is a cat post to make up for the one that was not posted on New Year's Day. Front Page Pet Pictures awards to...

Zipcode 10101: Cinderella from New York City

Cinderella and her brother Charming were born last July, some more of those kittens who came into the world because somebody didn't want to bother taking their mother to the vet. What's known about their purrsonalities so far is that they play with each other and go to humans when they're ready for a nap. They're up against it because, although they are adorable, gray tabbies are the most common type of cat, and they look ordinary. Not fancy breeds. And yet, the mackerel tabby color is interesting when you think about it. Like a miniature tiger in a black and white photo? If you appreciate the beauty of a "plain Jane" cat, this pair (they must be adopted as a pair) may be for you.

Zipcode 20202: Iman from DC

That coat! You can see why they named her after the most beautiful model in the world. At her web page there's a snapshot of her admiring herself in the mirror! Iman is about a year old, can be shy but likes to purr and cuddle. They might let her be adopted alone. She looks as if, however many other cats live with you, she's going to be Queen Cat.

Zipcode 30303: Totally Tabitha from Fulton County

She's a shelter cat. Not much is known about her except that she seems cool sharing a cage with another cat who I suspect may be Rad Rachel, our last photo contest winner. Rachel is still up for adoption and if they are old friends or relatives, as appears to be the case, you might get a good "two for" price on a pair of cat companions.
