Book Review: Bullies Bovines and a Bookmobile

Title: Bullies Bovines and a Bookmobile

Author: M.K. Scott

Date: 2022

Quote: "Anyone else might think the term girls referred to children as opposed to their dairy cows."

It's not bad enough that the little town votes to close their library around the time Tenny lost her favorite aunt. Someone has stolen her best friend's prized bull. And the meanest girl in town has lost nothing with age--except her ex-husband, whom Tenny always fancied and who, post-divorce, seems to fancy Tenny. And rumor has it that the last woman who annoyed Mean-Mouthed Rita mysteriously fell down her own well, and nobody could prove it wasn't through pure carelessness...

You already know Tenny will find the bull. You don't know how much comedy M.K. Scott will pack into the story. You don't know how far Tenny's romance with dangerous Dallas will go, either, and I will not tell you, but this novel will not embarrass you in front of the children.

It takes a run of a few dreary e-books to make one appreciate a good one. This is the good one I'd been waiting for. Yummmm.
