First the bad news: I joined Linked In, inadvertently, while trying to contact an old real-world friend, and I can tell you that joining this web site does not generate torrents of job offers for independent free-lance writers/editors with no intention of spending another night anywhere but in our own little aeries in the mountains where TVs wouldn't work if anyone dragged them in. Wish it did.
But, according to Sarah Halzack, the situation's a bit different for active, high-performing engineers.
