Quote: "Her birth certificate clearly stated her name was Ella. Who was Isabella?"

Isabella, or Ella, was brought to Australia as a baby, and her name was changed. This, the author explains in an afterword, really happened to somebody in her part of Australia, not too long ago. From there Dall'Alba goes on to invent a romantic plot: Ella hires a private investigator to find out what her mother's not telling her. He just happens to have been brought over as a baby, and had his name changed, too; he always thought of himself as Zane but he was originally called Zachary. Ella didn't think she has a living father, but Zane has always thought he had, and they were close.

Zane and Ella soon find out who their fathers really were. Then it's off to Boston to confront them. They have Mafia connections. Ella's father is still alive and obscenely rich in Boston. Is he a threat to Ella's life, or to her mother's? Or will he decide he likes the determination Ella has shown by finding him?

And what about the siblings they never knew they had? Actually, thankyouverymuch for asking, there will be separate novels about them. This novel is part of a series about people who find they are "Australian At Heart." One stepbrother will have been smitten by a "sun-bronzed jillaroo chick" by the time Zane and Ella have married each other.

They're extroverts, and foul-mouthed ones at that. Will they remind you of being twenty-five and in love? Not me, but maybe you.

The series will soon be complete in stores! Visit this web site at 9 a.m. on 4.4.24 to see the review of Rustic Denim Love
