I knit.

(That one's no longer available, but you can order a doll dressed to match any family-friendly book from this web site: $10 for approximately 12" tall adult-or-older-child-type dolls, more for other types of dolls that are more of a challenge and usually take more time and yarn. Knitwear can be designed to fit a doll you supply.)

  1. Knitting seems like one of those activities you can get mentally lost in, which makes for a great waiting room activity.

  3. I’ve started crocheting during meetings. I can still focus on what’s going on but I do like that just a little bit of distraction

  5. I love knitting, but always found that fitting the needles in my bag was a challenge, and that my loops tended to slip off as I rooted around! I've recently started crocheting, which I also enjoy and find to be a little more portable! Definitely a great idea for waiting rooms.
