It's been a quiet day, but a day of celebration...finished a very stressful writing job. A few links:

As far as I know, each of these European butterflies has a close biological "relative" in the Eastern States and none of them actually lives here. Some look familiar but they're different species.

Three Silver Foxes have taken so many tours of India, which is the home of one of them, that they've actually been asked to give official talks for Tourism Boards. It's sort of sad, but it's Barb Taub so it's still funny. And it makes one think how awesome it is to be a baby-boomer. My mother had Indian housemates and an Indian roommate, too. She remembered them with real sister-love for all of her life. She never would have dared to go and visit them in India, nor would they have dared to ask her. But now...!
