One last status update and I'm gone...Written on Monday, but scheduled to appear on Saturday when the book is supposed to go live on Amazon, is a review of a deliciously (or disgustingly, depending on how you look at it) realistic romance between a Virginia horse person and a Texas horse person. The characters are very rich and very horsey. Their romance builds slowly, with plenty of the caution their kind of people have developed before they're old enough to start dating. Reading their "slow burn" romance was like being able to have a lot of great-aunts and -uncles alive, and visiting, again. If you like reading about rich horse people, run don't walk. There's a delightful horse character, too.
