Censorship by Computer

Did anybody out there really think computers have been developed in order to promote freedom of speech and freedom of the press? Liz Klimas reports on a new computer program intended to "prevent policy violations before they occur":

Hmm. "Problematic phrases" like "defund Obamacare"? Or maybe Apple computers would be programmed to find phrases like "buy a Dell computer" "problematic"? I hate to break the news to those of us who've found computers liberating, but Hitler would have loved the Internet. Buy a typewriter...before the next election you may need one.
