Book Announcement: Spots the Space Marine

For those who've not heard about it, Spots the Space Marine is a science fiction novel, originally published as a LiveJournal. Not my usual cup of tea, but it may well be yours. It was yanked off Amazon, and M.C.A. Hogarth was otherwise hassled, because some greedhead corporation had previously patented a video game about "space marines." The novel has nothing to do with the video game, and some LiveJournalists even accused the corporation of having claimed "Nazis" as a trademark. Now the novel is back on Amazon:

Spots the Space Marine is on Saloli's Wish List, and if and whenever we get a physical store open, Spots the Space Marine will be displayed.

We don't do this for everybody, but here are a few more fun facts and reasons why, if you have any tolerance for science fiction whatsoever, you should buy Spots the Space Marine...keyword time!

Spots the Space Marine is a book that has been unfairly censored.

M.C.A. Hogarth is part of the Cuban-American community, despite that English name.

M.C.A. Hogarth also draws the "Three Jaguars" cartoon strip.

M.C.A. Hogarth's LiveJournal image as "Haikujaguar" is the cutest girl/jaguar cartoon you ever saw.

Reading Spots the Space Marine would be a good way to relax after reading too many annoyingly bad proposed pieces of legislation.
