Book Review for 7.10.24: Single Dad Boss

Title: Single Dad Boss

Author: Daisy Flynn

Date: 2023

Quote: "I needed to take sensible action quickly, or this delay could ruin my career."

Natalie's famous for giving relationship advice on television, but her own love life is dysfunctional. She had a not too recent fling with her supervisor at work. She knows the romance is gone, but he manages to surprise her, anyway, when her car breaks down on the way to work, she manages to walk in only two minutes late, and oh that's no problem, Natalie, you were fired already. Pink slip on your desk this morning.

So she might do worse than accept some help from her brother's best friend, even though he wasn't very gracious about rejecting her help when his wife died....

Couldn't the author have found a more believable name for this hero than "Sebastian"?  Has any English-speaking man used the name "Sebastian" in this century? Aren't these characters supposed to be American?

Well, if the only fault I find with it is the hero's name, you know it's pretty good within its genre. The only suspense lies in finding out how long they'll take to admit they want to marry each other. The child is actually believable. If you like to savor memories of love letters, weddings, and honeymoons, this book is for you.
