NavPress’s reputation is for well written, Bible-based, nondenominational Christian books that appeal to college students and teachers. Abba’s Child is a good example. It’s all about the familiar message that God loves you so you don’t have to torture yourself with guilt trips or repeated sin, but Manning has found fresh quotes and anecdotes and put thm together with high-quality prose, so even if you’ve read fifty other books on this theme, Abba’s Child is still a fresh, good read.
