Book Review: Maid of Honor Meets Best Man

Title: Maid of Honor Meets Best Man

Author: Willow Finn

Date: 2024

Quote: "Caleb had already arrived...with plans to have the bridesmaids and groomsmen meet."

Caleb and Stacey are an unusually generous couple. They've rented large, spacious accommodations for a week of fun and games in exchange for their friends doing more than stand in the church with them at the wedding ceremony. It's almost as if they think Maverick, the sensible organized best man, and Maria, the chattery, impulsive maid of honor, need to get to know each other. But of course nobody would expect people so different, even if both of them do seem to enjoy organizing the party for everyone else, could like each other...not, at least, unless the person is a serious believer in physical attraction as an aid to True Love.

It's a sweet romance so you know how it will go. Maria has a sort of job, helping a friend make and sell designer purses, but nothing she can't do online if she happens to fall in love. We don't see her working or having a life of her own. We see all the details of organizing a wedding and a week-long party, shared by a couple who we can believe are going to become Partners for Life--possibly in a wedding-planning or travel-planning job.

I've found other stories and characters by this author more appealing but, if you like planning social events, you'll love this one. Some readers have been waiting for the Idaho setting, too.
