Book Review for 7.9.24: The Widower's Nanny

Title: The Widower's Nanny

Author: Bella Greene

Date: 2023

Quote: "I don't like the idea of having a nanny, but my mother could no longer do it."

The speaker is a thoroughly spoiled rich boy, accustomed to living with a house full of domestic help. What he doesn't like is  having to rely on one of them to supervise his daughter. In view of the qualifications, including the personal charm, of the nanny his mother picks for him, there's only one way to cope with the situation. After a week of family camp with his blonde but adorable six-year-old, he's sure.

This is a sweet romance; we know the widower and the nanny will be married by the end, but we're spared most of the details beyond the conversation where they admit they find each other attractive. As a marital aid it's conducive to sweet, wholesome memories of the early stages of readers' own romances.
