American gun owners are demonstrating at state capitols at "High Noon" this Saturday, January 19. (In Florida, allegedly because so many of them live so far from Tallahassee, they'll assemble at the Hernando County Fair grounds instead.) This event is advertised as a peaceful, law-abiding display of support for the U.S. Constitution:

If you will be at or near your state capitol on Saturday, you may want to join this rally.
Here in advance, based on my age and experience, is a comment: State legislators, please bear in mind that for every responsible firearms user, dealer, or rights supporter who goes to the capitol, there are probably fifty or a hundred who will be working, resting from a week's work, and/or connecting with their families on Saturday. Or some such thing...at high noon on Saturday, Grandma Bonnie Peters, who is a Seventh-Day Adventist, will be at church.
Personally, I'll be resting from a week's work. This would not, however, rule out my riding along in a van, if any local lurkers want to drive to Richmond.
