HB 73: Drug Tests for Public Benefits

Virginia House Bill 73 will, if enacted, require welfare beneficiaries to pass drug tests every six months:

Last winter this web site stayed out of the "good Delegate, bad Delegate" type of thinking, but we do note that this excellent bill is co-sponsored by Delegates Rob Bell, Richard Bell, Cline, and Crockett-Stark...four names that we've often found attached to especially good bills.
