Comedian Chris Rock wrote one book, Rock This, that made me laugh out loud...and that's the last I'd heard of him until he came up with this ludicrous speech:

Hoot! I don't know whether Rock's even aware of families like mine. So far as I know there's not been a mortgage in the direct line of descent...maybe not ever. The direct line of descent has stayed in the same place since 1838. (I'm the end of it.) I don't know to what extent my male ancestors protected Rock's ancestors, but they all put in their time in the Army.
